Welly walk!

What an exciting way for us to learn - going outside! As the seasons were starting to change Mrs Coyle asked us to bring our wellies with us so we could go outside and explore the shapes we could see in the real world (numeracy across the curriculum) and the seasonal changes in the environment. (science) We saw lots in both! There were rectangles in windows in the houses, cylinders on car tyres and even a pyramid in an electricity pylon! We collected lots of leaves that were brown, orange, yellow and red. It was a little bit wet when we were outside but that just made it more fun to walk through the puddles! Mrs Coyle hopes we all keep bringing warm jackets and sensible outdoor shoes so we can do even more outdoor learning, as the weather changes again!
