Welcoming a Baby

As part of our RME topic, Welcoming a baby in Christianity, we went for a visit to Trinity Church in Renfrew.

It was a nice walk to the church and the weather stayed dry for us.

Mr Steele is the Minister in Trinity Church and also our school chaplain. He was very welcoming.

He told us all about what happens when a baby is welcomed into the church.

It was lots of fun looking around the church.

We investigated the pulpit, the lectern, the baptismal font, the communion table and even got to have a wee look over the church from upstairs.

We enjoyed our visit and look forward to seeing Mr Steele in school at assembly time.
