P1 Trip Calderglen Park

Despite the non-stop rain, we enjoyed our class trip to Calderglen Country Park. Inside the glass house we found plants from different rainforests. Outside there were different birds. These are Australian Kookaburras.
We liked the marmosets.
This gave us a bit of a fright. Is it real?

Robertson Park

Starling Learning came to Robertson Park with us to help us with a minibeast hunt, pond skimming and to release our butterflies. Before we set off they told us some interesting facts about bugs.

We went to Robertson Park to release our butterflies. We had to be very careful when walking as some did not fly very far. We will miss them in the class room but will look out for them when we go to the park.
