Gladigator

Gladigator talked to us about how to brush our teeth and how much toothpaste to use.We had to wait in a line for our turn on his inflatable toy. We didn't mind waiting because we could dance to the music. We all had lots of fun. We hope that Gladigator comes back soon!

Welcome to Primary 1c room 3

A very big welcome to our class blog.

Throughout the year we look forward to sharing news and photographs from our classroom. You are welcome to leave us a comment.

Primary 1c have settled happily into school life. It has been a very busy first few weeks with so many new things to see and do.

We have been supported in settling into our new routines by our Primary 7 buddies. It was really nice to have lunch with them this week. They did a fantastic job of showing us what to do in the dinner hall and we would like to say, "Thank you". We really appreciated their help.

We have enjoyed listening to stories about the characters from our reading books. You can see them in the picture above. We have been learning to recognise their names.

We are also learning our Jolly Phonic sounds. We really like Snake and Inky Mouse. They are learning to read words just like us.

We have been counting and writing our numbers, playing games and making lots of new friends too!

Mrs Ayres has been really impressed with our jotter work. We are working so hard, learning to form our letters and numbers.

We have a lovely, cuddly little friend in our class called Benjy the bear. He watches us working hard all week. He especially likes boys and girls who are good listeners and who can show him how to be a quality audience. Each Friday, Benjy likes to go home with one of the boys or girls for the weekend. He will choose someone who has been trying their very best to be his special person. All of the children in Primary 1c would very much like to be his special person. I wonder who it will be this week?
