Nativity 2012
A highlight of the Primary 1 year is getting to perform in the Nativity. This year was no exception, we were all thrilled to get the chance to be on the stage, sing songs, perform dances and some of us even had words to say. Everyone got to wear a costume and some people had props. We practised very hard and Mrs Coyle was extremely proud of us! We think all of our parents, family and friends were too!
Helping Santa
We were so lucky to get to see Santa in a Glow meet just before Christmas when he is so busy. All of Primary 1 gathered together and were able to ask questions and Mrs Coyle could send them on the instant messenger to Santa - it was very exciting!
Santa had also left us a special project to do. As the elves were so busy he had wondered if we could help him out by making some Christmas toys that had moveable parts. Can you guess what we made?
Christmas Party
As it is Christmas we were lucky enough to get together with our friends from room 1 and room 2 as well as the Primary 2 children to have a Christmas party. We had some dance competitions, played musical statues, had some delicious snacks and played pass the parcel, all before a very special visitor came to see us! Yes Santa came to our party and we all were very good and got a present from him. Thank you Santa!
Christmas Disco
The second term has just whizzed past with all the things we have been busy doing! We couldn't wait to get to the Christmas Disco to show off our dance moves. All the girls looked gorgeous with glitter from head to toe and the boys looked very smart in their shirts! There were quite a few songs we new and some dances too. What do you think of our moves?
Halloween Disco
Primary 1c were out in force at Halloween. We had some fatastic costumes ranging from cheerleaders, to witches, to zombies, spiders and vampires! Even Mrs Coyle dressed up! This was our first disco at Primary school and it was great fun. We can't wait until the next one.
